A milestone of my life left forever: Jacques van Oortmerssen (1950-2015)
These series of video's on our studio project should not only be on practical issues, ... it is also about the way to that decision and the path our, my life has directed to that decision. Jacques van Oortmerssen was one of those persons with a tremendous influence on my life. Indirectly the way he formed me, was important to come to the point where I am now.
There would have been at least one episode, entirely dedicated to him. But I never could have thought that episode would have to be made, after he left us definitely...
Jacques van Oortmerssen passed away, abrupt, suddenly, on Saturday 21 November 2015. Age 65.

He was one of the most influential organists of his generation, and the importance of what he did and left behind, will be only become clear in the coming ten years.

This is a very personal video. I hope you don't mind that I shared these emotions and memories with you.

My thoughts are with his wife and sons.
